HDTV Reviews & HDTV Information » Blog Archive » How do I get the best out of my mini vga to hdtv?
hdtv
TheGreaterAmI asked:

I’m buying a mini vga to VGA adapter and run the vga to my hdtv as it has a vga input. I have a 32″ Samsung TV.

Once connected do I need to change any settings on my TV or iMac G5 (Leopard) to make the outcome look the best it can?
And how do I do so on my mac?

Don’t use VGA.

Use a miniDVI-to-DVI adapter and a DVI-to-HDMI cable. That is a digital signal, and it works much better than analog VGA or connecting to an HDTV.
