How do I fix the Speaker buzz coming from my HDTV?

I recently bought a LG-42LG50 HDTV and I love it, but I have a problem with the speaker buzz. I’ve connected my laptop computer to it through a VGA-to-VGA cable with 1/8th to 1/8th audio, and when it’s connected I hear the buzzing sound come from the tv speakers especially when I increase the volume.
Any ideas?

The laptop to another power outlet if the laptop to another power outlet if the power cord is nonpolarized you can try flipping it around.
