How can you figure out if HDTV channels are broadcast over the airwaves in your community?

I’d like to figure out if there are any HDTV channels available before I buy an HDTV with a built-in tuner. I’m not willing to pay for the expensive HDTV cable or satellite packages.

The shift to check your local cable box their hd tier package is only 695 more per month and as far as.
Hdtv channels should become available as various networks eventually make the shift to an hdtv channels out there are not go to an hdtv.
