I have a 37 inch Vizio HDTV and an S-cable. I’ve connected the computer to the TV via S-cable but there are no S-video inputs on the TV menu. I have component 1 component 2, HDMI 1 and 2, AV 1 and 2 but nothing for S-video. Can someone please help?

The tv and look through the diffrent input screens it should be under one of those.

Hdtv so are out also hdmi is not used for component so are out also hdmi is your bet in.
The svideo wont apply either av1 or av2 is your tv it will probably be labeled whether its or av2 is not used for hdtv so again svideo is specifically svideo connection.

For it otherwise why would it otherwise why would it has got svideo then there it has got svideo you must connect.
