hdtv
Judy S. asked:

Does anyone have a hdtv hooked up to cable without a hdef dig box who is seeing his/her channels in hdef resolution? I was under the impression that you would have to have a hd dig box from the cable company to see hd resolution if you are receiving the signals thru the cable, not thru an antenna. Thanks!

Most HDTVs include a QAM tuner that allows you to watch the “clear” (unencrypted) HD channels from Cable without a box.

You need a box or a TV with a CableCard slot to see all channels.
